General questions

How many years of experience does Wahat Al Darbi have?
Wahat Al Darbi was founded in 2012 in Dubai — over twelve years of experience in business services and government transactions. During this period, we have served more than 27,000 clients and completed over 121,000 government transactions.
Can I complete my transaction remotely without visiting the office?
Yes, most of our services can be completed remotely. We receive documents electronically, handle the procedure, and deliver the outcome. For services that require attendance (e.g. biometrics for first-time Emirates ID), we arrange a brief appointment at a time that suits you.
Do you work with clients from outside the UAE?
Absolutely. We particularly serve investors and clients from Saudi Arabia and the GCC who wish to establish a company or manage UAE government transactions. We accept certified power of attorney and handle documents electronically.
What are your working hours?
Our office is open from 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM, seven days a week. WhatsApp is available around the clock for urgent enquiries — we typically respond within one business hour.
Do you communicate in Arabic or English?
Our team provides full service in both Arabic and English, per client preference. All correspondence and documents are available in both languages.

Emirates ID

How long does Emirates ID issuance or renewal take?
The standard track takes 5–7 working days. We offer a fast-track that issues or renews within 24 hours, at an additional cost set by the authority. We arrange the biometrics appointment (if required) and deliver your card in the shortest possible time.
What documents are required for first-time Emirates ID?
For first-time issuance, we need: - Original valid passport - Entry visa or valid residency - Personal photo with white background - Birth certificate for children (under 15) - Attending the biometrics appointment (mandatory for first issuance)
What if my Emirates ID is lost or damaged?
If your ID card is lost or damaged, we file the loss report and obtain a replacement quickly. You can receive the new card in 5 working days, or within 24 hours via fast-track.
III

Company formation

What's the difference between free zone and mainland licensing?
A mainland license allows operation inside and outside the UAE freely. A free zone license focuses on specific activities within the zone, with tax advantages and full foreign ownership. We analyse your need and recommend the most suitable option legally and economically.
How much does it cost to establish a company in Dubai?
Cost varies by activity, legal form, and jurisdiction. We provide a precise quote after the initial consultation — including license fees, office, investor/partner visas, medical, and residency. We guarantee full transparency without hidden fees.
Do I need an Emirati partner to establish a company?
Since UAE company-law amendments, 100% foreign ownership is now possible for most activities — in free zones and even in many mainland companies. Certain activities still require a local partner, and we guide you to the right structure for your activity.

Traffic services

Can I export my car to Saudi Arabia without coming to Dubai?
Yes. We handle vehicle export to Saudi Arabia on your behalf via certified power of attorney. The service includes vehicle inspection, export certificate, customs clearance at Dubai and the border crossing, and delivery to your address inside the Kingdom.
How long does vehicle ownership renewal take?
Renewal typically takes just two hours, provided the vehicle is inspection-ready and there are no pending violations. If violations or issues exist, we resolve them first, then complete the renewal.
V

Residency & visas

How do I obtain investor residency?
Investor residency is granted to owners of registered UAE companies. Steps include: medical exam, visa issuance, biometrics, and Emirates ID. When you establish your company through us, we handle all these steps within the integrated service.
Can I sponsor my parents in the UAE?
Yes, parental sponsorship is possible in the UAE subject to certain conditions related to your annual income and accommodation. The residency is renewable annually and includes medical examination and health insurance. We assess your case and guide you through all requirements.
VI

Pricing & payment

How is pricing determined? Are there hidden fees?
From the start, we provide a detailed quote including: government fees, service charges, and potential additional expenses. Full transparency is one of our core values — no hidden fees, and the cost does not change during execution without your prior approval.
What payment methods are available?
We accept cash at the office, bank transfer, credit cards, and approved electronic payment apps in the UAE. For clients outside the Emirates, we offer international wire transfer with immediate confirmation.
Can company-formation cost be paid in installments?
Yes, for company-formation services we accept 2-3 installments tied to the establishment stages. Details are set during the initial consultation and documented in the service agreement.
